Project Description:

C.D. Moody Construction Company has completed all phases ofThe Home Depot building located in Jasper, GA. The project has a Total Gross Building Area of 119,622 square-feet with an additional 29,000 square-foot Garden Center. The project was completed within budget and on schedule in 21 weeks. Construction of a "The Home Depot" store may be thought of as building a large warehouse with cash registers. What seems to be just a cinder block shell houses an infrastructure of newer technologies such as inventory control communication equipment, computer networks and phones. This is in addition to older technologies such as plumbing, pneumatic tubes, electrical, lighting, and HVAC to name a few.

The Home Depot Company has built enough structures that schedules are cast in stone. The groundbreaking ceremony starts this schedule of specific delivery dates for subcontractors and suppliers. As the general contractor, C.D. Moody took responsibility of this schedule, ensured all supplies and subcontractors were on schedule and that their work met requirements – on time.

Once again C.D. Moody Construction Company has delivered another work of art with this project, by delivering a well-built building on-time and with in-budget.
